>JAN_31 [10:31PM]:URBINO

7am: Day trip to Urbino, supposedly one of the primary cultural centers of the 15th and 16th century Renaissance. Four hours of sunny mountain sides and snow shadowed valleys puts us in this surrealy preserved city. Rebelling against our history guide, a number peeled off for the ancient fortification atop the grassy hillside, now an amazing vantage point to survey the city below and the surrounding countryside. One of those "romantic" spots to spend the afernoon. At the moment of our intrusion, occupied only by a trio of local jugglers playin with their two dogs.

Sleeping heads failed the drama of sunset rays splay purple across the expanse. It belonged solely to my memories and myself. Dinner in Florence. Aqua All2 (have to double check on that name). 30years in Florence has bestowed the restaurant with time to develop THE best italian food I have yet eaten. Ofcourse, being in Florence, the chianti was quite the affable vintage. Possibly a morning run to wear off the food coma? How the Italians stay healthy with all this pasta is a miracle. Jon's having stomach problems. Whelp. Buona notte!

on a side note - Goals:
1. Write home more often
2. Find new headphones, it's rough listening to songs with one earpiece
3. Run every morning (though liable to break this determination day after t'morrow)
4. Find an H+M in Milan
5. Eat more salads
6. Come up with more breakable goals later on
